Jen Mileti
Aspiring Children's Book Author
Jen has been a marketing writer for over 25 years, having contributed to many national and regional businesses through the advertising agency she co-founded with her husband.
Her two daughters are now out of the nest, and she has shifted her career to focus on her passion: inspiring young minds.
She has taken numerous courses at Gotham Writers’ Workshop, a creative writing school in New York City founded in 1993.
She founded The Write Way, a creative writing program for at-risk youth in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1995.
She currently volunteers with Free Arts, helping transform children’s trauma into resilience through the arts.
She crafted Enchanted Ink, her debut novel, with the help of Gotham instructor and children’s book author Erik P. Kraft, who doctored the book. The novel was selected for a pitching roundtable at the Gotham Writers Children’s Lit Conference.
She also authored Harold Prefers to Look Up, a picture book.
Her goal is to use her creativity to bring peace and boost confidence in children and teens.
